CPD: Hands On Assist Course 

with Nataliya Potopalska

9th - 11th May | Fri 5-9pm Sat/Sun 09.00 - 17.00 PM

 

This three day training is open to all 200hr qualified yoga teacher who aim to build a solid foundation of safe, educated, alignment informed hands on assists. Learn how to guide your students to experience stability, alignment and expansion in the body.

Gain the confidence you need to help progress your students in a safe and supported environment. The simple act of sharing human touch has enormous power to heal both physically and emotionally. A confident hands on assist can help a student safely access a deeper posture, set good alignment and explore energetic movement and intention.

 

This training will explore:

why, when and how to offer hands on assisting
difference between assisting vs adjustment
foundations of adjustments
using the breath with touch
building relationships/consent
working with different body types
self-preservation


This course is registered with Yoga Alliance as a Continuing Education Practice and comes with a manual.

 

TEACHERS BIO

Nataliya is certified and registered as a senior yoga teacher with UK Yoga Alliance. As a former professional athlete, she originally moved to yoga on the path to heal sports injuries. She aims to share her knowledge and experience of how yoga can transform our lifestyle through educating others. Yoga has helped her to build mental and emotional resilience that guides her through her life.

She has a master’s degree in Physical Education, the anatomy of the human body has always fascinated her. Through years of various training in Vinyasa and Forrest Yoga styles, she focused on anatomy, unique body ability and how the safety of the body leads to mental and emotional transformation.

Nataliya is a certified Forrest Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga teacher, she shares her knowledge and experience through delivering CEP (continued education) for teachers on Anatomy and Hands-on Assisting.
