22nd - 23rd March

10.00 - 16.00 PM

Welcome to the "Yoga from a Mobility Perspective" course, a transformative 30-hour program designed for both aspiring and experienced yoga instructors who wish to elevate their teaching capabilities and deepen their understanding of yoga as it relates to mobility and the human body.

In this immersive course, you will build confidence and acquire vital knowledge in teaching yoga with a special emphasis on mobility. Through a blend of theoretical learning and extensive practical sessions, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of critical muscle groups, enabling you to not only enhance your own practice but also effectively teach others.

What You Will Learn:

Foundational Knowledge: Develop a strong grounding in the anatomy of movement, focusing on key muscle groups and their roles in various yoga postures.

Teaching Confidence: Cultivate your ability to practice and teach complex poses, particularly those that challenge mobility, such as arm balances and splits.

Effective Sequencing: Learn how to sequence yoga classes that prioritize safety and accessibility, helping your students safely explore their movement potential and achieve their personal goals.

The course is structured to provide a dynamic mix of theory and practice. Over two days of hands-on workshops, supplemented by an informative theoretical component, you will engage in:

Day 1:

You'll kick off the course with a focused morning session of practice, followed by in-depth discussions on posture breakdown, muscle engagement, and practical application in class design. The emphasis will be on handstands and front split conditioning, providing insights into how to strengthen and lengthen the body effectively.

Day 2:

The second day mirrors the first. However, the focus will shift to hips and splits, ensuring you receive well-rounded training in all aspects of mobility. This day will also include additional teaching practices with a strong focus on feedback and assessment, promoting continual growth and refinement of your teaching technique.

Throughout the course, Steve has prepared a series of instructional videos that will enhance your theoretical knowledge and provide a deeper context for your practical experiences.

By the end of this course, you will walk away not only with enhanced skills in mobility-focused yoga teaching but also with an enriched practice that you can share with your students, fostering their growth and exploration on the mat.

Join us on this enlightening journey to broaden your yoga expertise, inspire your students, and deepen your own practice. We look forward to welcoming you!
